I’m Lola Bezor—an Adelaide-based artist creating contemporary paintings shaped by materiality, light and balance. Each work is considered in relation to space, bringing a distinct presence to an interior while allowing room for the architecture and objects around it.

Working in oil and acrylic, I build layered tonal surfaces that introduce depth, warmth and softness. Guided by restraint, I allow form, negative space and subtle movement to lead, creating compositions that feel grounded yet quietly expressive.

My studio reflects this same philosophy—minimal, natural and light-filled. It is a place for experimentation and considered making, where each painting develops intuitively through layers of colour, texture and mark-making.

At the heart of my practice is a desire to capture something felt rather than defined—a mood, a moment, a sense of connection. Through painting, I create work that holds presence while leaving space for the viewer to bring something of their own.
